Credit dilemma: Equifax refuses to remove collection entry

My current credit dilemma revolves around a delinquent payment on my credit report supposedly originating from a major Quest Diagnostics, causing havoc on my score due to a $56 debt in collections. Oddly, upon contacting them, they couldn't find any record of my visit.

While Experian and TransUnion promptly accepted my dispute and removed the collection, Equifax seems to be putting up resistance. They sent me a detailed PDF, affirming the debt is indeed mine, despite my efforts to verify with Quest Diagnostics.

Given my busy schedule, I'm uncertain about the best course of action here. Should I reach out to the collections agency, try contacting Equifax directly, or explore the option of this law firm offering free services https://www.qdexx.com/US/MS/Gulfport/Lawyers/US-MS-Gulfport-Dulin-and-Dulin-LTD/?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if my credit vocabulary isn't the best—I'm new to navigating all of this. Thanks a million in advance!
